Smooth and silky skin. Regular trips to the beauty salon are all well and good. But sometimes we want something a bit more permanent. Especially when it comes to unwanted hair on our top lip or chin. Electrolysis is medically approved and a tried and tested method for removing individual hairs permanently. It works by inserting a sterile and incredibly fine needle into the hair follicle. Then the electrolysis machine sends a tiny amount of electrical current, which, through a combination of heat and chemical reaction, destroys the follicle and prevents regrowth. The hair is then removed with tweezers. The advantage of electrolysis is that the hair is unable to grow back and it’s suitable for fine hair and light hair too. It can be used all over the body, including the stomach, legs and chest, and is ideal for sensitive areas like the top lip, chin, eyebrows or moles. It can be a slow process and a temporary, slight reddening of the skin may occur. But overall electrolysis gives excellent and permanent results.
